As I received my first salary, I couldn’t help but reflect on how far I’ve come and, more importantly, the people who made this journey possible.
My parents have supported me in every way imaginable—spiritually, financially, emotionally, and mentally. Through every challenge, they’ve been my biggest source of strength, constantly believing in me even when I doubted myself.
The fact that I’m even serving at my PPA today is largely because of my dad’s efforts and support. That’s something I’ll never take for granted. My mom has also been incredible, always doing everything she can to make sure I’m okay. Their sacrifices, prayers, encouragement, and unconditional love have shaped me into the person I am becoming.
Today, I’m sending my first salary to them. It may not be a huge amount, but it’s from a heart filled with gratitude. It’s my little way of saying, “Thank you.” Thank you for every sacrifice, every prayer, every sleepless night, every word of encouragement, and every opportunity you’ve given me. I know this is just the beginning, and I trust that with time, greater things are ahead.
I’m not posting this to show off or make anyone feel less than. I’m simply sharing a moment of gratitude. Sometimes we get so focused on chasing the next milestone that we forget to appreciate the people who stood by us from the very beginning.
Above all, I thank God for blessing me with such amazing parents. They are one of the greatest gifts He has given me, and I pray that I’ll continue to make them proud and repay their love with a life of purpose, success, and kindness.
Here’s to humble beginnings, grateful hearts, and the beautiful journey ahead. What a blessing❤️.
