@GentleBen85 @eteekswe @Wario64 I'm pretty sure that when you install AMD's drivers, they actually take over the scheduling to some extent (at least in Win11). So we're not beholden to whatever some MS contractor using AI did without enough subsequent QA.

But if you do other stuff or you'd like to leave certain stuff open while gaming, and you can afford it, the 9950X3D is totally worth a couple hundred more. Has been for me, anyway.

Also the 2 CCDs are not considered NUMA nodes like they used to be. I think that was pre-Infinity-Fabric? These days they're almost unified and, with each CCD having a ton of cache, crossing the fabric happens a lot less.

No one has the dual-vcache version yet so we have no idea about perf. Dual CCD might not be as big a deal when you have vcache on both CCDs. Some tasks barely talk to each other.

@ManyATrueNerd I know I'm late responding here, but as a gamedev, I actually think the core of the engine is pretty good. I like how it works and how mods work. It's only just their (open world) renderer that sucks, so I kinda hope they'll incorporate the Oblivion Remastered UE5-style renderer.
