Here’s my thoughts of the defense’s strategy:
1. Either way the trial goes, it will be appealed.
2. Defense is setting up a number of appealable issues right from the start.
3. If Diddy gets acquitted of all charges, he will be released. (Not a likely outcome).
4. If Diddy is partially convicted, his lawyers are going to go absolutely ham to get him out of prison while his appeal is pending. This is what the defense is going for during this trial. They know Diddy will most likely be found guilty on some charges - so that’s why they rushed the trial.
They want to get him out of jail pending appeal.
5. The defense’s move then, is while Diddy is out, pending appeal… delay, delay, delay. The case will be bogged down for decades - losing steam while Diddy is out. (He will be monitored, not totally free - think Pablo Escobar).
6. If Diddy’s counsel is successful in getting him out l, pending appeal, he will not go back into jail. He will be dealing with this case for years, but he won’t be in jail.
7. In this scenario, anything other than guilty on all charges is a win for the defense bc the goal is to get Diddy out of jail, not full acquittal.
I think it’s really sad that Kate Middleton will finally make an appearance tomorrow, and some of her alleged biggest “fans” are busy talking about Meghan Markle instead.
Focus on what you love instead of obsessing over what you hate.
It’s 7 years today wow! Remembering all those who lost their lives in the Grenfell Tower fire. And thank you to #MeghanMarkle , the American wife of Prince Harry who stepped in to help create the Grenfell community’s “Together Cookbook”.
Over and above all profits going directly to the community affected by Grenfell, the recipes are top notch 🤌

"I stood my ground."
Kelly Rowland says "I have a boundary" after video of her argument with a red carpet security guard at the Cannes Film Festival went viral this week.
Just waking up in Cannes with my espresso to see them disrespecting Kelly Rowland last night on the carpet.
The difference is striking in how ‘some’ are rushed off the steps with arms in her face and stepping on her dress and some, they will wait patiently for.
To see Kelly endure prejudice, and yes I know exactly what that was by the videos and photos, is sad. Guess what? We aren’t the problem, when I can count on ONE hand how many Black women are in the audience at Cannes, maybe the problem is ‘some’ of your ignorant poorly trained security and ushers that need to leave their Karen ism at home.
As someone who has visited France for the past 30 years (me) and has seen a wave kick up on racism post ‘someone orange,’ only a Black American woman will understand what Kelly Rowland experienced on the Cannes red carpet.
In past years, not now, because they know I will ‘all the way’ check them, I’ve had to put ‘some’ ignorant Cannes ushers and security in their place as well. I know that Claire Huxtable finger Kelly has up is pointing out someone who wasn’t raised correctly and is acting a fool.
I thought this year was SO much better, because wow they learned, they smiled, they made happy banter, some recognized me from past years, there seemed to be less aggression and scowls coming from them and they also know I do not subscribe to rude behavior.
The message for those disrespecting Kelly is that we will still keep coming back, you will have to see us living our fabulous wealthy Black lives in abundance and if your are a bigot, you will remain in a state of rage.
