@brendanjshort It works for events and PLG. But not great for meetings, unless it's paired with connected dials. Warm intros and referrals are still king.

@salesxsaas Nailed it. So few interfaces and products are actually built for sellers. Sales Nav is an obvious one, but @UseCentralize_ was the first that genuinely wow'd me for org charting, navigating relationships, and complex selling. Core AE workflows built for the AI era.

@FidelCacheFlow So many are building the "everything" tool and when I ask GTMEs if AEs are actually using it, they hesitate. It's never built for a real enterprise seller motion, mostly enrichment and automation for SDRs.

@RooktoRep one trick I always shared with my SDRs: send the email to yourself first, read it on mobile, how does it make you feel? Would you respond? Would your boss? It's a weird psychological flip compared to reading it in drafts.

@gtmba_ I think GTM is appropriate for series A and prior. But AEs gotta lean into and be proud to be in Sales. SDRs, I get wanting to dodge the sales title for outreach, but the jig is kinda up

They're building product and pushing out code, planning events, setting up lifecycle marketing sequences, building internal apps and processes for the team, etc. He's a technical generalist plugged in across eng/product and GTM.

Our founders are AI-pilled; but there's only so many CoS duties one can outsource to AI. Better to have an AI-pilled CoS who is a force multiplier on top of what the founders are doing.
