@TGGonYT Four things that are in RDR2 and nobody is asking:
1 - Can you use a rope or something on ppl to tie them?
2 - Can you pick up incapacitated, tied or dead ppl?
3 - Can you put bodies/ppl in the car trunk or just items/weapons?
4 - Can you enter regular homes and rob?
@reduzio Anyway, as soon as they have the office back they can operate again. Oj and i'm not using VPN or anything so not everu provider has blocked it already XD
@reduzio X was being send some requests to take posts down or to reveal data behind posts due to crimes being ivestigated. That's quite normal and happens in a lot of countires but for some reason in Brazil he decided "nah, i'll remove the legal office"...
@reduzio Really wish for some ragdoll related stuff and softbody, and some quality of life too for bone/cutout animation in 2D. Been a while since i tried 4.x so i'll check first if some of it is already at 4.3 XD
Tutorial hell: react to @StayAtHomeDev's latest video.
Why do people get stuck in tutorial hell, watching tutorial after tutorial but being unable to apply what they learned?
The root of the problem is with how and how much you consume tutorials. Tutorials have an inherent flaw: their step-by-step nature. You're so likely to stay passive.
Tutorials are easy to follow along and make you feel like you understood everything because good tutorials make it easy to reproduce the final result. But the format doesn't push to think and process each technique you learn every step of the way. You can turn off your brain, follow along, and you'll get a satisfying result.
This is especially true with video content. People tend to favor watching videos because it feels more accessible and engaging. But it's also easier to consume videos passively or to binge them, and this prevents skill growth.
If you do any sports, following tutorials is a bit like watching others play. You learn the rules, you see cool techniques, so you learn some things. But you don't really get to shape up and improve much yourself.
There are lots of techniques and concepts to learn in gamedev, way more than in any sports, so there's a place for consuming lots of learning resources. You just need to balance them with even more practice and challenges.
Julian aka @StayAtHomeDev makes great content. Go follow him and watch his channel!
