Yet another Kieler Woche came and went. And this time I introduced many guests - from three year olds to very many year olds - to the world of seismology. So glad, I could be part of a diverse presentation by @kieluni at the Kiellinie - the heart of the Kieler Woche fair.
Poster sessions at #EGU25 are set for 90 minutes. But the stream of people coming to my poster just didn’t stop, so I talked for 4:30 hours…
The discussions came out to be very inspiring!
Our 6th AdriaArray workshop on the island of San Servolo in the Laguna of Venice came to a close.
Besides lots of actually interesting talks, a poster session and practical workshops we also had a fun Early Career Researcher Event where I met new awesome people!
Today, we opened the annual AdriaArray workshop on the lovely island of San Servolo in Venice. We already had some lively poster presentations and interesting talks. The location is really awesome!
We had a small excursion with a few students to the coastline just outside of Kiel where we found lot's of different rocks from Scandinavia. Though the sky was pretty gray it was a lovely field trip! #geology

Visiting Helsinki for the ORFEUS/Geo-Inquire workshop where the seismological community is discussing Large-N experiments, the Finish instrument pool and 50 years of Finish seismology.
Today we installed our first @raspishake Shake & Boom instrument on our campus. We found a cozy little place at our botanical gardens. Check out AM.R6E56 in station view!
The young seismology training course is over. I have learned a lot about stuff like shear wave splitting, GNSS or moment tensors.
But most importantly, I met so many lovely people! And now we can share our experiences at the ECS General Assembly that started today 😊
