Today we remember AB(D) Gavin Richie who died this day in 1986 at the age of 21 whilst conducting a mine hunting dive in the southern North Sea. He died following a failure to surface.

Today we remember LS(D) George Walters who was part of Northern Diving Group. He died this day in 2004 at the age of 36 while taking part in a routine training session in a shallow dive off the coast of Oban in Scotland. It is believed he suffered a heart attack.

SSgt Allan Brammah was killed on 18 Feb 1974 while investigating suspect devices that had been found in Crossmaglen when it detonated killing him instantly.
He was mentioned in despatches in recognition of gallant & distinguished service.

SSgt Graham Crawshaw spent 11 years in the RAOC as an AT.
It was while serving with No1 Ammo IDU, Liverpool that he met his tragic death. He was part of a team running an exercise for Special Branch when a device detonated, and he was killed on 22 Jan 1975.

Martin Walsh joined the Army as a military policeman transfering to RAOC in 1974 to become an AT.
On 9 Jan 1977 Sgt Walsh was tragically killed when he was called to a milk churn bomb in Co Fermanagh. The device weighing 100lbs detonated as he worked on it.
