a pod with one of my favourite teams - @ClipStake_X (clipping platform)
i met alex and felix over dm's while they were scouting for ways to verify social data of users to make sure they weren't botting views.
we worked together from the start of their journey, helped them through the @alliance hackathon (which they WON!) and now doing more than 500M in verified views.
i love clipping, every single streamer you probably watch clips their content (eg: joe rogan, ishowspeed, NEON, clav) - if your target audience is people, clipping should be your only growth strategy.

Don't get fooled by "Tier-1 geos."
In clipping, geo-targeting is virtually non-existent.
Most agencies offer the option of "Tier-1 goes" and charge them a premium for it.
In reality, clippers just need to have at least 40% Tier-1 audience to participate.
The brand still pays for 60% worthless views.
The truth is most clipping agencies have no idea where views actually came from.
Their source of data:
A screenshot of the clipper's geographic distribution from when they signed up.
A SCREENSHOT!?
And brands are seriously paying for this...
Here's how ClipStake actually targets your geos:
1) Verified demographic data pulled directly from the creator's TikTok or Instagram dashboard.
2) Country-specific CPMs - you only pay for views from the geos you care about.
3) A detailed country breakdown after every campaign so you can fine-tune your next one.
You don't need to be a marketing genius to see the old system needs to go.
Don't get fooled by "Tier-1 geos"...

The clipping market is broken. Here's why.
Most clipping campaigns today run by agencies with no real infrastructure.
No surface-level view tracking. Weak bot prevention. No transparent analytics.
Just big promises and a prayer.
Here's what actually happens when a brand launches a campaign this way:
Creators submit posts. The agency counts views using public platform APIs - the same data anyone can see. Total views. Likes. Comments. That's it.
The problem? Those numbers are worthless. Bots can inflate every single one of them.
View farms watch your clip on loop from thousands of fake accounts. Engagement pods like and comment on demand. The metrics look great. The brand pays. Nobody real ever saw anything.
We've seen campaigns where brands paid for 50M views and got maybe 5M real eyeballs (if they were lucky).
The agencies know this. They just don't have a way to fix it. And since everyone in the market has the same problem, nobody's incentivized to shine a light on it.
Until now.
The only way to actually verify views is to get inside the creator's analytics dashboard - not the public-facing numbers, but the real data that platforms show creators themselves: unique viewers, average watch time, traffic sources, audience demographics.
That data can't be faked at scale. A bot farm can spike total views. It can't fake 45 seconds of average watch time across 200,000 unique accounts from Tier 1 geos.
Data is the solution. And it's why we built ClipStake.
Brands pay for real eyes. Creators get paid fairly.
Agencies that have been selling inflated numbers are about to have a problem.
The market is broken. We're fixing it.

Crypto companies can't run ads, so instead they waste money on KOLs.
Here is the playbook:
Step 1) Pay a 5 KOLs $2k per post.
Step 2) KOLs post. Their followers don't care.
Step 3) Blame lack of results on the bear-market.
The end.
Here is the problem:
There's no performance accountability. You're just hoping for results.
We're introducing an alternative:
Performance-based content distribution.
(Aka "Clipping" ✂️)
Our playbook:
Step 1) Instead of betting on 5 KOLs, split your budget across 100+ creators.
Step 2) Don't rely on their ability to get your message across. Give them the exact content you want them to post.
Step 3) You only pay them per 1,000 verified views until your campaign goal is reached.
No praying for results.
Just raw volume and performance-driven incentives.
Welcome to the clipping meta. 😎
