I pledge to work as hard as I can to tackle the tough issues of our time, from housing and homelessness, to climate change and the impacts it will have on our winters, and more. We did it!
With less than 1,000 votes to count across the Municipality, I think it’s safe to say that the current leads won’t be changing in the Midtown race. With a total of 10,470 votes cast in District 4 so far, I have earned a total of 54.24% of the vote, or 5,679 votes.
There will likely be another couple hundreds votes to count and I look forward to certifying these results on April 25.
Thank you so much to the voters of Midtown for continuing to support my vision for our district and for Anchorage. I don’t take your support lightly.
While election results will still be coming in for another week and I want to respect the process, I wanted to share my deepest gratitute and thanks to all of the Midtown voters who have continued to support my vision for Anchorage since 2017.
I'm proud of the support I've had from Alaskans and from my hard working neighbors. Election results will be certified on 4/25, so we still have a ways to go before this campaign is officially over.
Signs are coming down!
We should be picking up yard signs around town by the end of this week. If you have a sign that needs to be picked up, please email: [email protected].
As we wait for final results for the municipal election, I wanted to thank all of the candidates who ran positive campaigns this cycle.
I'm proud of all the community leaders who put themselves out there and presented a real vision for the future of our city!
Thank you to everyone who has voted so far and shown their support!
If you haven't, our furry neighbor, Mr. Binx, says you have until 8 PM to turn in your ballot or vote in person!
Today is the day, party people! For those that “like” to wait until the last minute or arrive fashionably late to the party - this is your time to shine! Dust off those ballots and get them returned before 8pm tonight! I voted for Felix Rivera and Irene Boll - and yes on bonds.
