Media framing is such a huge issue, because why is this framed as though the woman’s leaving mid argument is why this man killed his daughters? The media is a huge part of why society continues to blame women and girls for the violence of the average man.
Grateful to President Mahama, the people and Government of Ghana for the warmth during my visit. I am confident that together we will create a brighter future for our citizens!

I will be hosting the Minister For Finance @Cassielforson ahead of the budget reading. This Sunday, 8 pm. All media houses are invited to join the space

Three weeks ago, the Attorney-General [Dr. Dominic Akuritinga Ayine] called to inform me that after reviewing all the prosecutions against me and Democracy Hub; he has formed the professional view that all these prosecutions were unwarranted and legally untenable.
As such, he has directed the Director of Public Prosecution drop all charges against me and Democracy Hub.
I have kept that information confidential and only disclosed same to colleagues within Democracy Hub and close family.
I will speak more fully about this and the manner in which the State's resources was marshalled by the Previous Regime to crush and destroy me and all that Rule of Law requires a democracy to observe.
But I want to first thank the Attorney-General, Dr. Ayine for his humanity and sense of justice. Another might not see even the need to place that personal call or show the appreciation that the justice is truly a human endeavour.
I pray that he takes his charge as Minister of Justice as one requiring a human touch. He expressed to me his true believe that Justice must proceed on the basis of proven law.
I say only now that a democracy that allows the state's apparatus can be so weaponised; a judiciary that looks on and collaborates on such persecutions; is a democracy that is headed for doom!
I will continue to serve the Republic as I have always had. May tomorrow redeem us and make us whole!
