@hellenataylor So you decided not to mention the 10k or the extra 5k offered but you mention the 4k to basically insinuate to everyone a false pretense. I also agree that all those amounts were not enough but it says a lot about you to not speak details that matter and expect others to boycott
@MyKatAccount @RebeccaMerica @yomama85614916 @DebCares4Iowa @StevijoPayne I was very lucky to find this school. All I’m saying is they’re out there, rarely apparently since most people here are saying they’re having the opposite experience
@MyKatAccount @RebeccaMerica @yomama85614916 @DebCares4Iowa @StevijoPayne Yes, he’s nonverbal. He has an aid specifically designated for him to assist with directing and basic needs. I understand not many people receive these services but I fought incredibly hard to make sure he gets the tools he needs to be successful.
@jrc1921 This was probably rehearsed prior and he was told not to touch whatever and the dude didn’t move it when he was supposed to. People read into stuff too much, man lol
@EricG1247 What’s even more weird to me is the people around them don’t look shocked or surprised at all. If I was the guy to the left of him, I would’ve pushed that grown ass man away from the child. Nothing warrants that attack
@PhillipRCW Happy Birthday from San Antonio! It’ll be my son’s 6th birthday in a couple days as well! I hope you have a great day! We think birthday parties are overrated so we took him on a mini vacation to Salado. He’s autistic and big gatherings like a birthday party overwhelm him
@mrsfr0g @reberrabonbon was diagnosed. They just ask if he’s diagnosed and they do their own evaluations and determine their needs. Don’t let the results of the ADOS make you feel like it’ll change anything more than the fact that your child is autistic on paper.
@mrsfr0g @reberrabonbon To be honest, I’ve found that it doesn’t even matter what ‘level’ you’re put under after the ADOS test. You still receive a diagnosis of autism and it opens the same doors no matter what level you get thrown into. No therapist or doctor has ever asked me either what level my son
@tspencer322@elonmusk ‘Finding themselves’ = realizing their partner isn’t pulling their weight in the caretaking of their child and that mom can do better alone without the emotional and/or physical mistreatment from dad.
