Darmoor girl, felt maker, with the Moor in my heart and the sea in my soul. Wife, mother and grandma, conservationist, beach cleaner. Multiple Myeloma warrior.
I've not been around on here for a long while, I'm still ticking along and kicking cancers ass. Week off chemo this week so look out world. #MultipleMyeloma
It isn't any wonder that people don't use the trains. Apart from the prices, it's just taken our daughter all day to get from Birmingham to Cardiff. Delays and cancellations and no one knew what was going on. Grrr. By road 2 hours max.
@SusanHi87114134@ThanksCancer You're right every little does help. I bought one from an American company made from bamboo and cotton its really soft. Even though I've got hair now I still wear it on chilly days.
@mphosie @JonClar58684712 @ThanksCancer I've feel much older, look it too as no longer colouring my hair. Fortunately I kept my teenage figure and still wear trendy clothes. 🤷♀️ Who am I kidding. 🤣🤣
@raynor_winn Oh wow that's awesome Raynor. Oooh I hope you have an input because I've read the book 3 times and I know how I feel about your journey and how it changed my life too.
@tara_atrandom@ThanksCancer Yep I had the shock of my life when I blew my nose after stem cell transplant and the tissue was full of hair. I think someone should market nose tampons. 😁
@NetworkingJean@ThanksCancer As my cancer is treatable but not curable, I live each day as it comes and multiple myeloma lives in a box most of the time.
@ThanksCancer I don't celebrate my cancerversary as I was numb and thought it was a joke as I felt really well. I celebrate my stem cell transplant for #multiplemyeloma I've had my 1st one, cake and wine day. Now onwards to my 2nd. 👊🚶♀️😊
Hello everyone I haven't been to twitterland for a while. How are you all? Update on my #MultipleMyeloma I'm allowed out at last. White cell count going up at last. Whoop whoop. This pesky cancer ain't going to get me. No more alone time in the campervan.
@raynor_winn Oh wow that's wonderful. What a fantastic thing to do. I'm sure you and Moth will smash it. Marathon, a walk in the park after walking from Scotland to Cornwall. Good luck to both of you 💓
@FairUseLBR@ThanksCancer Yep, I've felt grotty since finishing my last round of Lenolidamide. Only to be told my neutrophils are very low, and they want to keep me off it for a few weeks. I think I'll hibernate. 😔
