Over the night, we successfully resuscitated an individual who presented with a GCS of 3/15, fully unconscious with pupils sluggishly reactive to light to a GCS of 15/15, fully conscious and awake enough to move around

Not Sister. Not Matron. Not Aunty Nurse. Not Male Nurse. Not Oga Nurse. Not Staff Nurse. Not "Nurse!" shouted across the ward.

@FemFastOh Well anyone can be a matron, even secondary school house mistresses. Do you get called matron as a male CNO?
The term matron has been replaced with other titles that show level, role/duties of a nurse in that position. "matron" is archaic and represents no role in modern Nursing
In the ER, I’ve seen correct referral information save lives within minutes. I’ve also watched lives slip away because they came too late after wrong advice, delays, or no information at all.
Information is healthcare too.
