.@AMWIK and other media stakeholders today participated in a training workshop organized by the Kenya National Commission for UNESCO (@NatcomUnescoKe ). The workshop focused on the safety of journalists during conflicts and aimed to strengthen referral systems between #journalists and law enforcers. This initiative aligns with the @UN Plan of Action on the Safety of Journalists and addresses the issue of impunity.
Additionally, we will be hosting a session specifically for female journalists, providing practical training on risk assessment and safety both online and offline.
