3. Housing
The good news is that house prices in the UK are likely to fall by at least 10% next year as mortgage providers pull deals and raise interest payments.
But with cheap money off the table, we could see the housing market come to a halt 📉
The pound slumped to an all-time low against the dollar on Monday 📉 and most other currencies
This comes after the UK's mini budget where a series of tax cuts and spending measures were announced
2. Interest rates
The Bank of England has hiked interest rates to 2.25% to support the currency
And they're forecasted double to around 6% in the next year 🤯
In turn, mortgages and other loans will be increasingly expensive. Banks are already withdrawing mortgage offers
