The restaurant of lost recipes by Hisashi Kashiwai
I haven’t read many books from Japanese literature (only one or two so far) so I’m curious to explore more of it

English isn’t my first language, and I’m more familiar with American and British English.
Overall, even though I was a bit disappointed and expected more based on the reviews I had seen before starting it, I still enjoyed the book.

Honestly I liked the whole idea, and it was a heartwarming story. I just think the emotions could have been delivered a bit more deeply and intensely. Also there was a lot of Irish slang and the dialogue's sentence structure was sometimes unfamiliar to me since/
