being an artificer in a dnd campaign is really fun because at second level i can make some basic magic items, this includes an alchemy jug which i can use to make 2 gallons of mayonnaise every day.
keep in mind the amount of magic items i can make is equal to my intelligence modifier. my intelligence modifier is +3, so i can make 3 alchemy jugs and produce 6 gallons of mayonnaise per day.
i just think that it plays into the dark edgy rogue backstory but it makes it funny, alternatively its an amnesiac character and they keep forgetting and then thinking “this creature killed their parents”
i just came up with a great dnd character idea: a rogue who’s parents died, but they can’t remember how so now every time they fight something they say that this thing killed their parents.
for example: (fighting a horde of goblins) “a horde of goblins killed my parents”, then like an hour later they fight a bugbear or something and they say “a bugbear killed my parents”
