Grateful for an impactful IVVN–ASOP Nigeria 2025!!!
A year of inspiring minds, empowering girls, and bringing science to communities that matter most. Thank you to every facilitator, partner, teacher, and student who made it possible.
We are more than an outreach, but a movement!
One of the most unforgettable moment from our October Outreach was at Igangan High School Oyo State
Despite the rough, inaccessible roads, our team’s enthusiasm never wavered! We carried our lab materials on our heads & rode on bikes just to bring science to life for the students
Growing science, hope, & sustainability!
At ASOP, we plant🎄 in every school we visit — teaching students how caring for the environment supports both nutrition & climate action
Each seedling is more than a tree — it’s a lesson in responsibility & a promise for a greener tomorrow
Today at Igbo-Ora Grammar School was all about science in action!👩🔬
Students learned how use a micropipette to test for rabies vaccination & explored how vaccines protect lives.
At ASOP, we make science real & relatable — inspiring young minds to see how science saves lives!
💬 Continuation of our interview with Mrs. Oduola, VP of Ayete Grammar School — she described our ASOP workshop as eye-opening, inspiring, and impactful. 🌟
Hearing educators speak with such passion reminds us why we do what we do — to shape brighter futures. 💫
A heartfelt interview with Mrs. Oduola, VP of Ayete Grammar School, on the pressing issues of drug abuse & cybercrime among students.
Her words remind us that awareness isn’t just education — it’s protection.
Together, we’re shaping responsible, informed, & resilient young minds
Ever seen a✏️ pierce a sachet water without a single leak? Magic? Nope — science!
We wowed students with this fun experiment demonstrating the power of polymers — flexible molecules that seal around the pencil, preventing spills
Hands-on science that makes learning unforgettable!
Our school outreach in Igbo-Ora High School was a huge success. For our 2025 October Phase 3, our dedicated scientists worked tirelessly to create an unforgettable experience for the students.
Here is a recap of our workshop sessions from setting up to the rabies practical.
Have you ever wondered how we transform classrooms to a suitable place for our experiments with the students? Tag along with us for the second day of the October 2025 Phase 2.
Today, we visited Adegun Asaka Grammar School Igangan and the feedback from the school was amazing.
💖 How beautiful is it to end the day with this heartwarming gesture from our male facilitators at the International Veterinary Vaccinology Network - African Schools Outreach Programme (IVVN-ASOP) — celebrating and honoring every girl on this special day! 🌸💃💃💃
DO NOT WRITE OFF YOUR HOME COUNTRY.
Recently, a friend of mine based abroad moved into his property in Nigeria. He thanked me, prayed for me endlessly, and enjoyed his time there. I have been telling him for years until he yielded. If you live abroad, do not write off your home country. Make plans for your latter days.
I am from Nigeria, and so I will focus on that. Things are rough, challenging, and sometimes chaotic there. Everyone is trying to out-cheat each other. People are looking for ways to make money off you. They are brilliant and at the same time so cunning. You have got to be smart when dealing with Nigerians in Nigeria.
Having said that, Nigeria is a land of opportunities. You can be rich one day and poor another. You can be high one day and low the next, but if you know what you are doing, you will be up forever.
For those young, don’t join the others in condemning your country. It will solve no problems. Instead, see what you can do to improve the lives there. Also, ensure you get a foothold there if you don’t want to be left behind in your latter days.
I have lived in the UK for 35 years and have a deep knowledge of what I am sharing here, especially when it comes to being stranded abroad.
Many people in their 50s and 60s who have behaved like a ‘white’ man for most of their lives are now stranded abroad. Imagine living abroad for over two or three decades to go and sleep in a friend’s or family's house with no place of your own in your home country. It is not dignifying. If you have not thought of it, start thinking of it now. You may still be able to turn back time.
As you age, the cold weather will show you shege. Your children will leave home and leave you alone. Your pension may not be enough to heat your house properly. The friends that you used to have may move back home. Do not become that miserable older adult fighting people on his street or causing trouble in the church. I have seen people like that. Do not let them abandon you in an older adult’s home. Fear Nigeria and love her at the same time. It is a fascinating country.
Nigerians have a way of making themselves happy despite the hardship. The praise and worship are different. The dancing is different. The greetings are different. While in Nigeria, you can get more greetings in one week than in a year abroad. The weather is different. The food is different. You get more Naira for your foreign currency, and your life will be prolonged if you behave yourself.
If you are not thinking of home, do so now. There is insecurity, but over 200 million people are still living there. May we not be unfortunate.
As you age, think of how you're going and coming, but shine your eyes off. Ma lo suegbe (do not be dull)😎
