In a country that has given so much for a world without bullies and, with all its failures, promoting the international rule of law, as UK, it has become imperative to sign the petition to call for a new election. We might get a worse government, but it will be people's choice...
Lukewarm Sir @Keir_Starmer still missing the point. You don't oppose fascists by saying what their followers want to hear; you take a stance and make people choose. Brexit was a mistake, not reversing it is a bigger one.

But instead, EU is more concerned with stopping immigrants (whom they need, because their population is very old) than with claiming their place in the world..."Dark times lie ahead of us and there will be a time when we must choose between what is easy and what is right,"
Europe is in trouble because it’s playing the wrong game. In a multipolar world, instead of remaining married to the US, it should recognize the US and China as first-order superpowers and focus on Russia as its geopolitical adversary among the second-tier powers.
Everyone understood that and that’s why they supported Ukraine, everyone except Trump (and it’s becoming increasingly unclear who he actually works for). He negotiates peace on Russia’s terms, and in Venezuela he creates the precedent that anything goes… 2 + 2 equals 4.
The war in Ukraine, which had nothing to do with Ukraine joining NATO but rather with wanting to join the EU, started because joining it would push Russia’s sphere of influence to its border (it no longer has the Baltic states or Poland) and confine it to the “-stans” of Asia.
Thanks to Trump, earlier today Russia has understood that within its sphere of influence it can do whatever it wants without respecting laws, principles, or anything at all.
@NickKristof With a single move the US confirmed it staunch support for the idea that superpowers can decide whatever within their spheres of influence...there it goes Taiwan
I’m proud to be one of 1,176 letter co-signatories calling on MPs to back the #CANBill in this week’s private members’ bill ballot. The time for science-led legislation to tackle the climate-nature crisis is now. @Ed_Miliband@SteveReedMP https://t.co/aBlsClX4Jd
After several, many, interactions with the system, it will be hard to convince me that many (most?) doctors in the system are not working towards NHS privatisation. Nothing to do with funding: plain, obvious and obscene disdain and negligence
Muchas gracias por su compañía en las XXI Jornadas GECTI de derecho y tecnología. Nos vemos en otra oportunidad @UniandesDerecho @FeneBar @MoncadaABG
If you have a doubt who @RishiSunak works for, now he made it clear: not the voter not the UK (although he is consistent, as he also lies as previous PMs) #shamelessPM#lookingforaleader
UK net zero policies: what has Rishi Sunak scrapped? https://t.co/c063Gar4rH
In addition to the dubious employment practices, in Europe @Uber would have serious issues with false/misleading advertising. In order for you to agree the pickup, it says the driver is x minutes away, and 20-30 minutes later still says that is almost there #unfairpractices
