Channel 4 has a new program called "The Great ADHD Myth?"
Here's a few facts about ADHD, it is the single most expensive illness, costing the UK £17bn a year.
Yet the NHS spends only £180m a year on medication and only treats 1 in 10 people who could benefit.
Despite the fact treatment reduces costs by up to a third.
It is ignoring ADHD which is the problem, and which Channel 4 are now guilty of aiding in.
🚨 BREAKING:
Famous British comedian Mr. Bean:
"I feel ashamed on behalf of the United Kingdom for allowing Israel to besiege two million people in Gaza, cutting off electricity, water, and medicine from them, and then claiming to defend human rights."
Andy Burnham has still not lifted Yvette Cooper's proscription which sees thousands of good people arrested as terrorists just for holding placards.
Please RT this until the Labour Govt which inflicted it (but incredibly still expects our votes) - lifts it.
Thank you.
I seem to have upset the @Nigel_Farage fan club - so let me be clear.
This man sows hate, lies and division.
He is a grifter and a conman.
He does not represent the vast majority of Britons.
RT if you agree
P.s. multiculturalism is great.
As a mental health nurse, it is so unhelpful when politicians equate recovery with getting back to work.
Whilst it’s true that as people recover they will likely return to work, and that work can be a huge part of recovery, one’s wellness and value is not derived from it.
Many suffer poor mental health and remain in work. Many people need time out to properly recover.
If their primary goal is to get people back to work they are not mental health hubs, they are DWP hubs.
Andy Burnham declines to call Israel's mass killings in Gaza a GENOCIDE - he states 'I can't judge things of that enormity'.
Please RT this until he does & announces his Govt will no longer be supporting the Zionist GENOCIDE.
Thank you.
Dialled 111 yesterday when they called back i spoke to a paramedic whose said I know you said your son is non verbal but can I hear him please as I have to know he is there with you!! Think you can guess my reaction
@Trivium21c Gove is not an educationist. He’s never studied education. He’s never taught. He was educated privately . It is incredible that one person with that background wielded so much power and influence over so many people for so long and with such long-lasting effect.
NHS TRUST CALLED A DROWNED TEENAGER'S DEATH NATURAL CAUSES
Connor Sparrowhawk was 18. Autistic, epileptic, obsessed with buses. In July 2013 he had a seizure in a bath at Slade House, a unit run by Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust @Southern_NHSFT in Oxford.
He drowned. No staff in the room.
The trust's first move was to write natural causes on the file and carry on. Just a disabled kid, nothing to look into apparently.
His mother Sara Ryan @sarasiobhan disagreed. She started the Justice for LB campaign @JusticeforLB.
LB stands for Laughing Boy, Connor's nickname.
She wanted one question answered. Why was nobody watching a boy alone in a bath.
It took an inquest jury 2 years to agree neglect contributed to his death.
Then @NHSEngland commissioned an independent review after campaign pressure.
Mazars published it in December 2015. The trust had recorded 10,306 deaths over 4 years.
Only 1% involving learning disability patients got investigated.
For mental health patients it was 30%. Still bad, but Connor's category barely counted as worth checking.
Families were shut out of 64% of investigations. The trust's own public reporting on deaths was branded misleading.
CEO Katrina Percy resigned in 2016 under pressure. In 2018 the trust was fined £2m at Oxford Crown Court, covering Connor's death and that of Teresa Colvin, 45, who died in a separate unit in 2012.
The judge called both deaths entirely preventable. The trust also paid Connor's family £80,000 after admitting it breached his right to life under human rights law.
In October 2024 Southern Health NHS Foundation Trust stopped existing.
Merged quietly into Hampshire and Isle of Wight Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust. The name is gone.
The 10,306 deaths still happened.
Sara Ryan spent 5 years fighting an organisation with unlimited lawyers and a comms team just to get her son's death recorded honestly.
That should never be anyone's full time job.

3 years ago Elon Musk tried to change Twitter's name to something ridiculous, XXX or something, I think he thought he was buying a porn site.
Anyway it's still Twitter and it always will be.
The revelation that Sunak has paid £1M in tax in the last 3 years 0.13% of his £720m wealth.
While the average person has paid about £45k or 14%, 100x as much.
Should open your eyes to just how much and how blatantly the rich dodge tax
Piers Morgan “Mohammed, do you condemn the Hamas attacks on October the 7th?”
Mohammed Hijab “Yes, I do. Do you condemn Israel killing over 1000 kids?”
Piers Morgan “I believe Israel has a right to defend themselves”
That answer should be on the tombstone of his career.
Repulsive. Why the heck should nice people be forced to platform hate because of a batty billionaire? 🤷♀️
Ireland and @andyburnham should pass legislation to stop this type of litigation.
A good start would be making transphobia illegal - and removing trans hate’s “protected belief” status.
Nigel Farage just said the UK was better in the 1950's
In the 1950's the Government owned Gas, Oil, Rail, Power, Steel, Telecoms, Mail, Shipbuilding, Airports, Social Housing, Care Homes (Children and Adults), Schools, Hospitals...
And built 300,000 Council Houses a year.
