@audirvana Look forward to it, but we hope it retains metadata editing and the ability to easily sort lists without going into the general settings. Are there plans to add those features to the Windows version (metadata editing and easy sorting)?
We weren't kidding when we said that just the DAC/Headphone stage of the Essence would cost $500+ on its own. Here's a customer comparing the DAC/Headphone output of the Essence to $800 Marantz HD-DAC1, using $1500 Focal Clear headphones (yes, more expensive than the Essence!)
Excellent article about @jimnanderson, one of the world's best recording engineers (he's recorded most of Patricia Barber's albums, for example). The article is a few years old, but still relevant. https://t.co/8NVtDEwYp9
Our recommended albums list is now available as a @TIDAL playlist! We've chosen one track for each album to keep things simple. Check it out for some high quality music! https://t.co/7LItkjMEWw
Over the past few weeks we've been working on a recommended albums lists full of well recorded music across a wide range of genres. Feel free to check it out and enjoy some excellent quality music! Regularly updated! https://t.co/Y3SOInfbd2
@DalleTwitch Ha, not exactly. "Exclusive mode" is just what Tidal calls WASAPI, which gives it direct control over the DAC, thereby bypassing Window's mixer.
@TIDALSupport We're glad you're finally updating your UI, but please bring back the option to see all of an artist's albums from the artist page. Clicking arrows to scroll sideways or "view all" is an unnecessary extra step. Thanks!
We just discovered the albums of @YarlungRecords and all we can say is wow wow wow! No compression and probably the best stereo imaging we've ever heard! The whole catalog seems to be available on @TIDAL, search Yarlung Records and click on the 10th Anniversary album for a taster
We are big fans lately of @audirvana music player. The sound quality improvement over other players we've used is not insignificant, really brings out the details the Essence is known for, and @TIDAL integration is the cherry on top. This is not a sponsored post, we just like it!
