Just as we move through air, we move through a world filled with thoughts.
The thoughts that appear inside your head are not the same as the living thoughts that permeate the spiritual world.
There are living thoughts and there are thoughts-corpses.
We assume thoughts originate in the brain:
we look at the world, receive impressions, and construct ideas.
But Dr Steiner shows that reality already possesses an intelligible spiritual structure.
We do not create this structure through thinking.
Through thinking, we participate in it.
The spiritual world is permeated by living thoughts — real beings of the elemental world, not abstract ideas floating in space.
When we perceive through our senses, these living thoughts become something else within us:
they become thought-corpses — finished, abstract representations that have lost the living activity from which they arose.
Like the difference between a living tree and a photograph:
the photograph preserves the appearance, but not the life.
Our ordinary thoughts preserve a trace of spiritual reality, but not its living essence.
A person can possess thousands of thoughts without genuinely thinking.
Possessing knowledge is not the same as actively knowing.
Our attention is usually directed toward the content of thought, not the activity of thinking.
We notice the thoughts that appear, but rarely the process that produces them.
Yet this activity can itself become an object of observation.
When a human being begins observing his own thinking, he becomes conscious of the activity that produces thoughts.
World‑transforming thoughts flow through the whole human being.
The brain is not the creator of thinking.
It is the instrument through which thinking becomes conscious.
Steiner warned of thought automatism — the tendency to combine ready-made thoughts without genuinely thinking:
- repeating words never examined
- adopting opinions never investigated
- using familiar expressions without living insight
This tendency is linked with Ahrimanic influence and is especially dangerous in language:
a person can speak continuously while remaining unconscious of the thinking that ought to accompany his words.
The remedy is not to abandon intellectual thinking, but to intensify it:
- resist repeating words you do not understand
- observe the activity of thinking, not just its products
- transform thinking from an unconscious process into a consciously experienced spiritual activity
Consider 3 people contemplating "freedom":
Person A — Dead Thinking
He repeats that freedom means independence, never questioning it.
He possesses a thought, but does not truly think.
Person B — Active Thinking
He questions what freedom means, examines his desires, and independently discovers deeper relationships.
He is actively thinking.
Person C — Living Spiritual Thinking
He goes beyond abstract concepts and begins consciously experiencing the living spiritual reality underlying freedom.
He participates in its essence.
Humanity's task is to awaken within thinking itself —to transform what has become dead and abstract into something consciously living.
So the real question is not:
“What are you thinking about?”
But:
Are you moving dead representations inside your mind — or consciously discovering the living relationships from which thoughts arise?
Find your purpose and dedicate yourself for it nothing else matter, for this is your duty as a soul who have been born in whatever circumstance you are in is for a reason never give up keep going.
Definitely those whom we associate ourselves with we absorb their energies and have energetic reactions like chemicals and result depending on the mixing where attention goes energy flows
You do not become moral by surrounding yourself only with “moral” people.
The moment you begin looking down upon those who fall or struggle,
your own development has already begun to move in the wrong direction.
Morality is not the art of separating the “good” from the “bad.”
It is the far more difficult art of understanding the human being.
To encounter another person deeply is to learn to distinguish between their passing weaknesses and the deeper individuality struggling through them.
A human being is always more than the impulses currently moving through their soul.
Instead of asking:
“Is this person pure enough for me to associate with?”
Ask:
“What happens to my own soul when I enter this situation?”
There is a big difference between loving someone and participating in the forces surrounding them.
You can understand someone without surrendering your judgment.
You can love someone while refusing to enter the atmosphere in which they live.
Some environments gradually weaken consciousness.
Where everything revolves around desire, your own desires grow louder.
Where people constantly surrender themselves to instinct, remaining awake requires greater strength.
The danger is not:
“These are bad people.”
The deeper danger is:
“Something in this environment is putting my own I to sleep.”
Every social environment carries a certain atmosphere.
Some atmospheres make you more truthful.
Some make you more courageous.
Some strengthen clarity and inner firmness.
Others slowly make you more vain, dishonest, cynical, or unconscious.
It happens gradually.
What once disturbed you becomes normal.
What once felt degrading becomes amusing.
What once required an excuse eventually requires no thought at all.
The soul falls asleep slowly.
Meanwhile, the person trapped in desire may be struggling toward freedom.
The person who repeatedly falls may be undergoing battles invisible to you.
You do not know the full destiny of another human being.
And you certainly cannot judge their spiritual worth from the fragment of their life visible to you.
So the task is:
Love the human being without loving everything that works through them.
Remain capable of compassion without surrendering discernment.
Help where you genuinely can.
The goal is not to build a purified little world where you never encounter human weakness.
The goal is to become strong enough to meet human weakness without being absorbed by it.
Avoid what puts your soul to sleep.
But do not despise the souls who are still sleeping.
Yes and they normalised it in relationships women whoring around and men as well no real connection is being built anymore men marry whores who has body count more than the body count of their grandfather in war
Your existence itself is proof these planets are still working through you yogananda himself eventually died after he served his purpose even though he is enlightened, and when you study how they view the planets they are vehicles that only expresses your own karma.
they are not jailers in sense you don’t have free will it’s that you don’t even know you have free will people are unconscious of it’s working through them ancestral generations karmas personal karmas unraveling themselves the awakened one notices the forces the tendencies that is arising within him he merely able to channel it freer and yogananda is said to be Scorpio rising I’m not gonna tell why this matters but it does deeply.
The awakened one doesn’t let the forces of karmas work unconsciously through him he is more aware and when he sheds light on them by the spiritual flame they burn at intense rate.
gurdjieff spoke a lot about this how man is asleep and will never awake till he understands he is asleep and how the undead works through him and the moon harvests souls.

@nobengunii Sometimes straying from the path is part of the path we lose and realise value of it when it’s gone and gain deeper appreciation for its existence
