I got to sit down to try the Gundam Card Game earlier this month and had an overall stellar experience. If there is one game that I'm particularly excited to see, this is it, and I have to recommend it immediately. https://t.co/oV8kuNoApW
Morvenn Vahl: Spear of Faith - Jude Reid
Intrigued by the Sisters in Apostle I thought to give a book from their perspective a try. Vahl herself is interesting but the book largely just highlighted the abject cruelty of the imperium with a “good” person trying to function in it.
For now the third year in a row I’m maintaining a habit of regularly reading, churning through Warhammer fiction primarily but also a very healthy chunk of other works of fiction, sci-fi, fantasy, and horror. Here I’ll give short reviews of 2026’s reading adventures.
Apostle- David Annandale
Chaos done right, setting the villainous, egotistical protagonist against the abjectly cruel and sanctimonious elements of the Imperium. The definition of power trip fantasy, the lowest strata of society rising up against the dumb evil of its rulers.
@ReReadingWolfe Won’t defend boob plate, but I tend to think that it’s the Witch King failing to consider word play into his immunity being as much the surprise as her gender. (Merry potentially breaking his aegis with a dead man’s blade and being a hobbit instead of a man notwithstanding.)
Very much enjoyed checking out The Caster Chronicles. Will be keeping a close eye on it from now on, and highly recommend it if you like the Magical Girl aesthetic.

Was happy to take a moment out of the endless stream of TCG releases to highlight a passion project from @RCE_Official, genuinely love to see games like this.
The red/blue button situation has been intense, huh?
One of the strangest (or saddest) things to witness is that people getting heated about "RED BUTTON IS THE ONLY LOGICAL SOLUTION" seem near incapable of framing the thought experiment outside a purely individualistic lens.
The live-action movie adaptation of #ELDENRING, produced by the studio A24 in partnership with Bandai Namco and filmed for IMAX, is slated for release on March 3, 2028.
Production will begin in Spring 2026, and the full cast has been announced. Learn more: https://t.co/WyyyXMkiUF
