@KGodsproof The keyword there is nicer not nice. Of course you'd be nice to everyone but you'd definitely be NICER to someone who exchanges pleasantries with you than someone who totally ignores you. That is his point.
@Poshnchic@iamOLR@ilovebk456@DirectorShenkes No we teach our kids to exchange pleasantries and acknowledge the presence of people. Noone is saying they should engage them in a full blown conversation.
@creamlyn_@olden_burger1 I dont care abt it but I don't think its wise to deny the importance of it. If two kids came to u in times of need, u'll be more likely to engage & maybe even bend over backwards to help the one who exchange pleasantries with u than one who totally ignores u when paths cross
@ilovebk456@KingCharlie01 As an individual, its way easier to approach someone who u exchange pleasantries with in times of need & d person will be more likely to engage u than someone u totally ignore when u cross paths. This is esp important in a country like ours with little to no social services
@ilovebk456@KingCharlie01 Lol, this is even more untrue. I used to be that kid that hated greeting strangers because I was shy and introverted. I didn't become ill mannered because of the reprimands from my parents. In fact I've even grown to understand the importance of it, esp in times of emergency.
@Silencercrypt@Mansaah_Musa When you raise funds like these, new shares will be issued. All he and his previous investors will bear is dilution. His original 43% ownership will be diluted down to 28.8% etc. Not exactly the same as being bought out
@JoshuaAdenowo@gkbalogs You can search for the Preparatory Certificate in Finance and Financial Markets offered by CFI. It's available on Coursera, and for the most part, it is free. It was a game-changer for me.
@sam6170 What youre doing is reserving the right to buy or sell the stock. In the event that things don't go your way, all you will lose is your deposit or premium. But in the event that it does go your way, you can exercise the option, or sell it outright and turn a profit.
There's an American couple that made millions off selling those little charms (Jibbitz) that attach Crocs footwears. Ended up selling the company to Crocs for $20m who in turn used it generate ~$200m in sales
I once came acrsoss a stat that said that Americans make up less than 1% of the global population yet they consume 20% of all goods produced worldwide. It’s truly mind-boggling
America economy so huge that they make insane money from almost anything. You’ll hear someone say he owns a law firm and is worth hundreds of millions from it, another person is just a few hundred million short of being a billionaire from being a dentist.
@tysonphotoo The same can be said 4 Invincible. It sent audiences rushing to a comic series that debuted 20 years earlier, delivered one of the most powerful father-son stories in modern fiction, inspired some of the webs most enduring memes and built one of the most passionate fandoms around
@UwahTito@youngbiljr@Emarged tbh its the stellar animation that carries Arcane. S1 was great with its defined roles but s2 was all over the place. Invincible is great cos it has stayed fairly consistent, giving us a clear protagonist we can root for, with none of that good-guy-turned-antagonist BS
@OkTre284954@emberambience@MostBoringJeni She was very much aware of the possibility of that happening when she got with Mark, and even if we gave her the benefit of a doubt, she still wanted to be together despite that possibility, did she not?
@OkTre284954@emberambience@MostBoringJeni I personally wouldve preferred if they had rewritten the incident as a miscarriage, rather than an abortion. Would've been more understandable, given that shes also gained weight too
@OkTre284954@emberambience@MostBoringJeni Makes less sense when you consider that Eve talks Mark out of breaking up with her the next morning by telling him they can get through anything together. If they could get through anything together, Im sure she could have had a kid for him even without him presnt, dont u think?
