On a hiatus from the Library. A crazy year provides me a crazy prep coverage schedule. Take no offence of my twitter silence as I try to change gears & survive.
@AngieBraiantsis Enjoy your week! The attendees are super lucky to have you there sharing your wealth of knowledge !(makes me wish I was teaching grade 3!)
What is going on @CentennialEDU with course enrollment for the Broadcasting program?! It's been a week and still students in this program are in limbo, wondering when they can enroll in their courses??
Students are not always sure how to give kind and specific feedback. They need explicit instruction and practice giving peer feedback if it is going to be valuable and constructive.
Check out this peer feedback template, Copy and make it work for you.

How wonderful to have teacher librarians from across our board sharing our space today. What happens when you put a bunch of passionate T-Ls in the same room? Tons of planning and excitement for student centred school libraries! #ONSchoolLibraries#SchoolLibraryJoy
@WilshireLibrary@sheilag302@twinklresources We're starting Biographies too! Using Gale Database for the same reason you are, along with the Who Is and Who Was books. Will search Twinkle as I never thought of this. Also, someone told me about the Ducksters website(?)
Lecce just now: When students aren’t in class, in front of a teacher, they do worse.
Also Lecce: Students must do two online, asynchronous, courses to graduate.

@mrslyonslibrary I can totally relate! Some of my students' desks area an absolute mess! They just stuff their things inside! Or half their things are hanging out!!! I hate messy desks!!
@CentennialEDU@MontoyaDavids What about second year Broadcasting students who keep getting the same error message as above and cannot pick their courses? What’s going on??
