This beautiful sculpture was built by the Irish people in their own country to honor the American Choctaw Indian tribe. They were grateful because in 1847 the Choctaw people sent money to Ireland when they learned that Irish people were starving due to the potato famine.

So many similarities to Covid long haulers and Lyme patients. This is great advice to those suffering and I hope everyone feels better very soon. #longhaulers#lyme
After suffering from Lyme disease, @DouthatNYT has a few lessons to pass along to anyone whose encounter with Covid-19 has left them feeling permanently transformed for the worse https://t.co/IazC3pmstx
This is the best article I’ve read recently about living with Lyme. Honest, informative, hopeful and also sad. It’s the last paragraph that really hits home for me. Thank you @meghanor keep fighting and keep writing!
After years of being ill, @meghanor found herself with one of medicine’s most bitterly contested diagnoses—a baffling disease that has pitted experts against one another and against patients. https://t.co/8ns7LSFfvV
Happy Sunday! Excited to say I’m tending to a community garden plot for the next few months :)
It’s a 4x4 plot we get to tend to now through Sept.
Any green-thumbs out with sage🌱 words of advice?
What should I plant? (Ideally at least 1 edible thing but we can do flowers too)
@AlastairMcA30@danaparish Correct! it’s not a recognized diagnosis but it needs to be. Which is why your tweets are so detrimental to those fighting. Long term ABX are also damaging-right again! Which is why we need a cure, accurate testing and drs who actually listen and help. Shame that won’t be you.
@jonronson Hi you need to have the tick tested for all co infections. You should be on antibiotics for certain. 100%. Not worth any risks. Feel free to DM me if you need any help.
@jonronson I have suffered from Lyme disease terribly, so no q’s about ticks. I had many questions about psychopaths and your book helped me a few years back. Thank you! My big question about Lyme is why the controversy? Why don’t people believe? Study? Understand? Help?? It’s a nightmare
