I have an update regarding the #gameboy#games in the #etsystore situation.
First of all, I'd like to thank everyone for the support in and outside the #gbdev community, it might have even helped a bit!
I noticed that even though the last response from Etsy mentioned it was their final decision and they would not reconsider, I noticed the help ticket was still open. So after a few days I decided to try once more to explain why I am not pirating anything and that I have permission to sell all of these games. A few hours later I got an reply which said the items were suspended in error and would be reinstated right away.
And indeed, all of the games are up for sale on Etsy again.
I have no idea why they chaged their mind, but for now this matter has a happy ending :)
@MikeTheTowns2 Indeed, there is a reason I've had my own website up for a while now. But Etsy was a nice source of new customers who randomly stuble into the store.
I wouldn't mind the fees as much, if my 1900 sales on the platform would give me actual support.
Some of you may have noticed some games disappearing from the Etsy shop over the past 3 months. I've been trying to contact Etsy since they removed the first one, but it took 2,5 months to finally get an actual reply instead of the automated ones.
I assume this started because there are now clones popping up on Aliexpress, so some bot probably detected it and thought I wasn't making the cartridges and other things myself. This seemed to be confirmed when I finally got a human to tell me they removed the items because they were a resold item.
However, after I explained all of this they suddenly changed the reason to promoting piracy by selling unauthorized or counterfeit copies of video games.
Since I have permission from all game creators, who make their own games, I explained this but the conversation was abruptly ended by Etsy mentioning they now consider the case closed and will not reconsider.
At this point in time only the blank cartridges and GB Interceptors are still for sale on etsy from my Game Boy related items. If you would like to buy any of the games, please do so at https://t.co/Ys5SgGx6wj
Shipping and, depending on taxes in your region, also games might even be cheaper for you there.
P.S. Set the shop currency to euros for the cheapest price to avoid it rounding up in your currency.

@DMGpageNow The only way the games in here get damaged is if the box is somehow being folded along the top or bottom. In which case it probably doesn't matter how much extra room there is for packaging.
I've been shipping in these boxes from the start, so for about 3 years now and I have had 0 damaged package complaints about these particular boxes.
If the order is damaged it will always be replaced.
These small boxes are also often shipped with the regular mail(depends on the country), while bigger boxes with more packaging get damaged more often from heavier boxes.
Hunt The Gwumbus is getting a physical release as well!
This puzzle adventure dungeon game is perfect to play in short bursts. You are likely to get thumbed by the Gwumbus quite a few times...

This champ is selling pirated #gameboy indie dev games. Anyone had success raising complaints with @AliExpress_EN / @AliexpressGl about this kind of thing? Can't contact the seller (Classic Gaming Accessories II, 1102894005) as the page is down and the IP site won't let me login
It has been a while since I have released a new game, but here it is! Ninja Twins, a puzzle game from the developer you might know from for example Death Planet or Quartet!
