Study trip #8 to Brescia🇮🇹 ✅
The plan this season was to take 1 trip each month to visit coaches that inspired my own system and philosophy and dive deep into details about specific topics. I’m very happy I got it all done. The obstacle is the way! #studytrip #brescia #coaching

Back to back trips the past 2 weeks to Telekom baskets Bonn and Virtus Bologna. I saw 2 very different but highly successful offensive philosophies. One based on simplicity and the other based on unpredictability. Needless to say it’s been an incredibly interesting 2 weeks

Last week took me to Baxi Manresa. Coach Pedro Martinez truly mastered the art of simplicity, working on only the most essential topics, but with a high level of detail. Truly a privilege to have sat down with him and discuss his system more in depth.

This past week I had the pleasure to be around Euroleague team and German powerhouse Alba Berlin.
It was great being at practice all week and to watch film 🎥 and talk about the Alba system with coach Israel Gonzalez. This one definitely didn’t disappoint 🔥

The advantage of a year off from coaching is the ability and time that you have for traveling and learning new things. This past week I had a great visit to #euroleague team #zalgiris Kaunas. More to come, this season will be filled with new knowledge, gems and ideas!

{ 45 Cut & Screen Your Own } More 45 Cut action @PickandPopNet! Coach @FerriedNaciri counters the 45 cut switch by having his cutter stop midway and screen his own man, preventing the defense from getting out to the corner man.
