@Lockwood_DT “My mum said she hopes you’re well,” he said holding up a letter that he had picked up from the post.
“She has loads questions about the ball. Should I tell her about the afterparty?” He asked, unable to hold back a laugh.
Ferris debated trying to hold @Lockwood_DT hand as they walked around Hogsmeade.
Maybe if Fred and George had been more opening to talking he’d know what do.
“Hey Rory,” he said in between the Zonko aisles.
@Lockwood_DT “Well I’d never say no to a walk or a game of gobstones,” he said with a reserved laugh. Would casual conversation always be this painful?
He dared to look over at her and regretted it immediately.
@Lockwood_DT He laughed weakly taking the seat next to her. /snap out of it/ he commanded himself as he bit the inside of his cheek.
“Yeah, I’m alive. Exhausted but intact.”
@Lockwood_DT Off in some corner of the afterparty picking at the snacks, "Fred and George seem to be bickering. Think I'll be able to sleep tonight?" He asked with a laugh that meant he knew he wouldn't.
@Lockwood_DT It was a moment that Ferris would remember for the rest of his life.
Had it been her playful nudging? The meaning behind her words? The way she looked so…so…beautiful…under the lights?
He wasn’t sure and his face contorted strangely as he processed it all. He looked down-
@Lockwood_DT "This is the bravest thing I'll EVER do." He said observing Fred now.
"If I don't make it to breakfast, promise you'll come find me." He looked over at her now and his gaze lingered in the drunken haze.
@Lockwood_DT His eyes widened in quiet shock as he covered his mouth with a fist.
"You don't say," He said finally. "I think I owe you a galleon. Maybe two."
