59 years ago today, Israel attacked the USS Liberty in international waters. 34 crew members were killed and 174 were wounded by the IDF.
Today, I spoke on the House floor to honor the fallen and to recognize the survivors who were present in the gallery.
@H0und0fG0d@MattWalshBlog Fair argument, my point is that majority of the outrage comes a coming from people who dont actually give two shits about kids after they’re born.
@AprylEvans@MattWalshBlog Name one thing the right is doing to solve those problems? Because Im not seeing much of a change. LA has 2 of the top 5 most violent cities in America. MS also has one of the most violent cities in America. Both are red states.
Believing a state being red benefits society any more than a state being blue does, is why our country is falling apart. Neither party benefits the average citizen. You’re pissed about people abusing social safety nets, while the red and blue politicians increase their wealth at our expense.
You’re not even paying attention. It’s not an argument, “retard”. I’m pointing out the performative bullshit outrage from cosplaying “right” wingers. Majority of able bodied adults on welfare or other government assistance programs have one kid or more. If you’re okay with stripping or reducing their benefits , which always affects their children, then you’re in no position to pretend you have a single moral leg to stand on.
@iL1keTurtles@MattWalshBlog This is exactly my point. I’m glad to see some people understood the meaning of my post. It went right over the heads of all the fake ass moral police.
@H0und0fG0d@MattWalshBlog This. My entire point is for these fake moral ass wannabes to realize, stripping benefits from families, whether the adults are able bodied or not, always affects children. They bitch and moan about that shit daily. They don’t blink an eye at a kid after they’re born.
That’s my point. I’m not saying take it away. The same people pretending to be moral saints in this thread, are the same people that applaud stripping benefits from families in need… They‘ll say shit like, “if they can work, they don’t deserve shit”. Which okay, fair… but they almost always have 2-10 kids from 2-10 different fathers. Those kids are not able bodied or capable of working.
@120Overdrive@MattWalshBlog Not at all what I’m saying. I’ve listened to Matt and others across the cosplaying “right” wing applaud the government stripping benefits for families in need. Even if the adults are able bodied, their children aren’t. Sorry, if that went right over your head, “Einstein…”
@AprylEvans@MattWalshBlog Spare me. You don’t give a shit about kids in need. They’ve stripped plenty of benefits from low income children across the board. If you bitch about welfare, Medicaid, or any other government assistance program, you’re in no position to play holier than thou.
