My main account is @DollMaidCrystal, where the day-to-day of being a rubber doll slave/maid happens.
This is where I post about gaming with other rubberdolls or my mistress.
Nothing drives me nuts more than writing a detailed piece of game criticism, and the first comment is "This is too many words to say you don't like it."
The whole point of criticism is to understand why something works or doesn't! If we can't discuss that, nothing will improve!
Oh no. It looks like someone is trying to revive the Anima IP again.
Anyone even remember those games? Anima Tactics was a beautiful minis game, but it had nothing going on mechanically.

Boo. My strategy guide for all the #LegionsImperialis factions has gotten zero likes.
Who could have guessed that a strategy guide for a game that isn’t out yet and has no players wouldn’t be loved!
Somehow, I’m bored by the new Jump Assault Intercessors and Scouts GW previewed.
I LIKE Assault Marines and Scouts, but these feel like cover song. They don’t feel like part of a modern Astartes force anymore.
Assuming they scale with their 40k counterparts, I’m going to guess a Knight Paladin has the firepower of around 2 Leman Russes.
Given that a Knight is rumored to cost as much as 4 Leman Russes, that changes some math.
With the last week of previews, I almost have enough to put together a Day 1 strategy guide for #LegionsImperialis.
The last two pieces I'm missing are the scoring system and the offensive capabilities of an Imperial Knight.
Praise The Emperor and pass the ammunition! Actual artillery has been announced for #LegionsImperialis!
The Solar Auxilia actually have a chance as a stand-alone army now!
(Call me old fashioned, but I kind of prefer my artillery on Chimeras to the Leman Russ chassis.)
Dystopian Wars (from what I remember) had heavily armored ships, short effective ranges, and layered active defenses.
Until you got good at the game, there was a whole lot of plinking.
Our attacks bounces off each other, so we bounced off the game. 3/3
While I'm still hyped for #LegionsImperialis, I've been thinking about other tiny-scale minis games.
Like #DystopianWars! 1/1200 scale 19th century steampunk combat built around massive battleships! It has so much going for it!
Too bad it's kinda boring. 1/
Important concept in wargame design is "the plink", or when an attack fails to do anything.
The harder attacks are to set up, the worse plinking makes a game feel. Doubly so if lots of dice rolling is involved. 2/
I'm calling it now.
Dire Wolf Heavy Scout Titans in #LegionsImperialis look like they're going to suck. They're too slow to flank. The bolter is unreliable for infantry sweeping. There are cheaper ways to get high-AP weapons on the table.
Put it together, and a Titan is too expensive to risk on your front line, but they can put out more damage from the back line than anything else.
Deploy them 20+" away from where the fighting will be and start making plans for when they're targeted by a deep strike. 7/7
GW has put out a preview of Titans in #LegionsImperialis, so I can finally give my Titan tips.
Titans are heavy fire support units. They can lay down firepower on a scale that doesn't otherwise exist in LI. They are NOT frontline fighters. 1/

Plus, Titans are expensive. In 2nd ed, a Warlord cost the equivalent of 9 Leman Russes. In 4th, 13 Leman Russes.
In #LegionsImperialis, a Warlord is equivalent to 16 Leman Russes. 6/
