My dream vacation would take me to Svaneti, Georgia, where ancient stone towers stand beneath snow-capped mountains, and life moves at a slower pace. For centuries, finance has been organized around financial categories. The next chapter may be organized around the life of capital instead.

Eventually, it pays for something real a home, a business, a family holiday, or even dinner with the people you care about. None of those moments feel disconnected when you live them. Yet finance has often treated them as if they were.
