Setting a home base that is conducive for kids to thrive during exams is so important. The atmosphere matters. Calm, routine, patience, encouragement and a sense that home still feels safe when the pressure is on.
I’m so glad to have friends who have done this before and who I can lean on and compare notes with. Parenting really does take a village.
Cause ke it’s Alakhe’s first exams but it’s also my first time having a kid write exams 😬
Beyond thrilled to officially be the voice of Miss World South Africa! 🎤✨
This is such a milestone in my voice-over journey, and I’m truly honored to lend my voice to an event that celebrates beauty, intelligence, and empowerment.
I can't wait to bring every moment to life and share this experience with all of you. Let's make it unforgettable!
A big congratulations to @ProVerbMusic who will be the MC for this world class crowning moment! Excited to work with you my brother 👊🏽👊🏽👊🏽
It’s very easy to get to this stage if you are not careful. It also doesn’t always have to be podcasts, even in your personal circles. And it’s because some breakups are such a defining moment in your life if you let them. You see your life in two stages; Before That Break Up. After That Breakup.
What you should do as umuntu is play a game with yourself. Call a friend and don’t talk about it. Have lunch with a friend and say goodbye at the end without talking about it. Yes, it took this and that from you, emotionally or otherwise, but don’t let it be the defining moment that it wants to be.
Play a game: “Everytime I talk about this breakup I have to give R100 to the guy at the robots”. Feel it when it needs to be felt but sometimes just… Stop. Don’t let it be your brand. There is life after ANYONE because there was life before them. It needs you to, uhm, LIVE.
