@buitengebieden Calicos are bossy girls. And gingers are usually males so they’re not so hyped up. That’s been my experience with both colours. The gingers have been perfect gentlemen but the calicos are assertive and sometimes very assertive.

@BrickMahoney Yep! How’d you guess? A little later I was helping mum with the washing using a wringer washing machine. My arm got caught in the sheets. When mum noticed she just reversed the wheel rather than opening it up and releasing the pressure. It’s only an arm. Stop making a fuss! 😂

@BrickMahoney In my case, I drank from the dogs water bowl. Mum rang the doctor in a panic. What should she do? Fill the dogs water bowl up again! Her parenting got a lot laxer after that early lesson in raising a toddler.

@Yoda4ever That’s a very trusting dog! I’m not sure that my dog would be as trusting of me. He should be because I’d definitely catch him but that level of trust isn’t seen in many people let alone dogs. 🤩

@SimonsCat Years ago we had two cats that actually did that. One cat slept on my bed at night and the next morning the other cat took the day shift and night cat and I knew it was time to get out of bed. It was a very civilised arrangement and I didn’t need an alarm clock.
