Screenwriting class brain tweaked tf out- Of all the deleted scenes this is the only one I think should have stayed in the final cut. Not only do we see them in their "bunk bed" setup, which makes the empty shot hit harder after they part ways, but SEEING Grace lie to Rocky (and in such a sweet scene!) makes the brave scene hit harder too. I'm genuinely kind of annoyed they left it out LOL it feels like such a slam dunk for maxing out the emotional payoff. I do wonder what the match cut to the bar would have been though
