There's something funny happening here. I started with a simple thought experiment: change Draco's sex and see what happens.

Now people are arguing about Lucius's dynastic strategy, Slytherin redemption, the Yule Ball, Sectumsempra, Harry's psychology, OotP plot structure, and whether the romance has enough tenderness.

Which kind of proves my original point.

Change one variable and suddenly there's an enormous amount of story hiding underneath it.
