@M3ss3ng3r1 @Inker_comics Unlike Super Saiyam, which is a transformation, both kaioken and UI are techniques and fundamentally different. Unless it is explicitly shown that he is training to do that, it is literally fanfiction. It aint happening, and basically illegitimizes the entire argument.

The Lord Slug movie was never de-canoninzed or retconned. The movies themselves exist within their own canon timeline, and arguably can be tied to both the anime and GT timelines, so they count. The characters and stories in said movies are also still used across DB media.

However, stacking kaioken, whatever the multiplier, on top of U.I is stupid and impossible.

I dont dislike Goku, but like with a lot of iterations of other heroes, he has overstayed his welcome. Unlike in DC where they have branching timelines and reset entire timelines, Goku shouldve stepped out of the spotlight with grace and dignity 20 years ago and passed the mantle on to his kids.

And NO, not done in the way like Star Wars and Naruto and other properties where they outright humiliate the old heroes before replacing them/killing them. I mean retiring or moving on after having lived a full life and letting the franchise mature with the next generation.

Death Battle got a lot of things wrong.

For starters, ending the fight by giving Goku a fanfiction level power up just to scratch a win automatically fucks the entire thing.

Also, because Murata has done so many rewrites for Saitamas later chapters that its easy for the data they acquired to get confused, and they end up getting shit that is way out of date, with later rewrites of Saitama effortlessly trouncing what was retconned.
