@Northpowergrid Having received a letter saying there would be a power cut from 9-1.30 today we closed our cafe as it’s impossible to operate without power. It never went off…not once. We have been in touch and been told you won’t do anything about it. This isn’t good enough???
@EposNow had an unresolved issue yesterday which you were meant to be following up with. Now had en email saying the case is closed - which I replied to asking it to be reopened. Spent too much time on hold to your customer services already. Case #00965102 PLEASE SORT!!!
😭Lockdown😭
As we don’t open Mondays and Tuesdays we have taken the decision to close now (ie we won’t be opening on Wednesday)
Thank you to everyone who has been out and supported us over the past few months
Hopefully this is short lived and we’ll see you all in December 🤞🏼
Just enough time to do one of the #BigSkiesBikeRides today: ‘South Dalton, Lockington and Lund from Market Weighton’, although I favour a Goodmanham start. Bumped in to former club mates, so it would have been rude not to kick off a new “LoyalTea” card and have a natter 🚴🏽♂️🍰☕️😀
Unfortunately we’ve taken the difficult decision to close The Fiddle Drill due to the ongoing threat of Coronavirus.
At times of such uncertainty it is very difficult to know what the right decision is and we hope this is short lived!
Thank you for your support and stay safe 😘
@Whitesbeverley This is the discussion we’re having (tea room in Goodmanham).
Do we bake/cook/prep for people to stay away or bite the bullet and close. Maybe could have done with a bit more clarity...
@YorksWoldsWay near Goodmanham. Beautiful walk through Londesborough Park to Market Weighton, birthplace of the Yorkshire Giant (7ft 9ins). Ended at magical Goodmanham. @FiddleDrill teashop, or @GoodmanhamArms2? What a puzzler. Ah ... both, of course!
