Sophie & Stephane are winding down their two year mission in Peru. Sophie strives to bring sustainability while Stephane’s effervescent joy will surely remain in their hearts. The mission stays with the Fidesco volunteers even when they head home, as the experience is so unique.

Julie and Pierre-Marie continue their mission in the mountains of Calca, Peru . Being in Peru when Pope Leo XIV was elected was especially moving for Julie who is Franco-American. She shares: “This pope embodies a model of commitment and charity, deeply linked to our mission.”

News from Isabelle: “The teachers are magicians. The trainees, arriving with no experience now sew clothing! They take classes in budget management&computer skills. Some want to start their own businesses, while others will be recruited in textile workshops.”
