This is a very personal commission and a bit darker than a lot of my posts. Last year I went through a lot, and in a way still going through things. Truthfully, I don’t know that the battle ever truly ends. The depression, the spirals, the longing, the aching. It just hurts all the time. I’ve been focusing on the little things. On the good. The things that spark any ounce of joy. Learning to cherish everything around me more. Giving appreciation to my family and friends where I can. No matter how difficult a moment may be, I pull out the will to persevere.
Art can be a powerful tool for self expression and I wanted to hire @carolineburgen to bring forth some of the feelings I have inside. I think it’s important to acknowledge that not everything will always be okay and that it’s normal to struggle with mental health. Life is an ongoing journey that we are continually learning to adapt to.
If you’re going through something, remember that you aren’t alone. Everyone has battles, whether we’re privy to them or not. To the ones we’re aware of, remember that the depth of another’s struggles does not diminish your own. Some days are easier than others, but you owe it to yourself to keep fighting. All you can do is take it one step at a time, and to find the compassion toward yourself.
To my friends seeing this, I’m okay. This piece was done months ago. Yall don’t need to message me. I know you’re there for me and appreciate you all. I promise everything is fine and I really don’t feel like phone calls right now lol.
Love you all 🩵
I’m coming out as pro mall I love shopping in physical stores and trying things on and feeling the material and walking around with multiple bags from different stores and getting a little snack at the food court
the concept of liking both characters in a ship you ship and empathizing and trying to understand both their povs seems to be a foreign concept to some people
