Haven't played FC (FIFA) in two months, longest I haven't played in over a decade.

Most of my long term friends are in a similar position or gave up even longer ago.

One of the biggest issues with the game over the last 3 or 4 years

Here's one of the biggest issues with UT.
Person A begins UT Week 1.
Person B begins UT Week 30.

By week 31, they both have the same team. The same things. The same worth.

How can a game just completely dis-regard time spent like that? I've never known it.

I don't know if I've visualised this quite how I want too, but something that has made UT feel quite shallow over the last few years, is that you're not rewarded for grinding the early / mid cycle in any meaningful way. Someone could start a new account right now, and by the end of the week be pretty much on par with the power curve. I think it would be incredibly beneficial to EA to build in some value to people who played over time.
