My mother, Aleema Khan @Aleema_KhanPK and my aunts, Dr Uzma Khan @DrUzma_KhanPK and Noreen Niazi @Noreen_KhanPK , remain behind bars.
Their only crime is refusing to abandon their brother, Imran Khan @ImranKhanPTI throughout his imprisonment — a detention the UN Working Group on Arbitrary Detention found to be arbitrary and in violation of international law, and called for his immediate release.
For three years, they have stood outside prisons and courtrooms, enduring everything from scorching heat exceeding 45°C to near-freezing conditions, demanding justice and the rule of law.
They have endured tear gas, chemical-laced water cannons, repeated arrests and relentless intimidation. Yet no amount of pressure could silence them or force them to step aside. They stood their ground. They refused to abandon their brother.
Since their latest imprisonment, they have been denied access to their family and legal counsel. They spent three years demanding justice for their brother. Now, like him, they find themselves denied the very rights they are fighting for.
Standing by their brother is not a crime.
Raising their voice for him is not a crime.
Demanding justice and the rule of law is not a crime.
Their detention must end.
Wahhabism is simply a tool for legitimizing Saudi political policies.
Even all their teachings on shirk developed as a mechanism for takfiring surrounding lands so that the Saudi state had an excuse to plunder and annex them.
I was first not happy with the fact that President Pezeshkian and Dr Araghchi went to the US to attend the US to attend the UNGA session.
The 20minutes improv speech changed my mind and really is well worth watching.
Here is just the first minute of it which someone posted on Insta.
This image that is circulating now on social media shows what childhood is like in Palestine. A child returning from school, hiding in fear when he sees an Israeli military car. Palestinian children deserve better than this. We’re tired of living in fear. We’re tired of fearing for our children every time they go back home from school. When will this end?
Britain is helping Saudi Arabia, one of the richest countries in the world, conduct military operations against forces in Yemen, one of the poorest countries in the world.
After everything Yemen has already endured, here we are again.
Shame on you @andyburnham
The point that has hit me the hardest so far in this book is the 3 types of Tawheed (the Oneness of God/Islamic monotheism):
1. Tawheed al-Rububiyyah (Oneness of Divine Lordship).
2. Tawheed al-Uluhiyyah (Oneness of Divinity / Worship).
3. Tawheed al-Asma wa'l-Sifat (Oneness of the Divine Names and Attributes).
Tawheed is the absolute foundation of Islam and the core purpose behind the creation of humankind and the sending of all prophets.
It protects us from the gravest sin, shirk (associating partners with God), that God does not forgive if a person dies unrepentant.
Do not compromise, and do not falter in your Tawheed.
I recommend this book to every Muslim and non-Muslim on this earth.
Black Wednesday: today Sept 23, the 16th anniversary of #aafia receiving 86 yrs in prison when she was the victim not the criminal (and that on top of the 7.5 yrs of torture she had already suffered). @Aafiamovement@FowziaSiddiqui
Vladimir Putin couldn't deliver a speech at the UN General Assembly due to ICC arrest warrant, but Benjamin Netanyahu can deliver his speech at the UN even with ICC arrest warrant! How much Zionist lobby have control over the UN and US.
This world has completely lost its meaning
Millions of views for khat.
Very little attention for Yemeni civilians killed by Saudi airstrikes yesterday.
Khat is not what destroyed Yemen's infrastructure, displaced millions, deepened poverty, strangled the economy, and subjected an entire nation to years of blockade and suffering. Saudi Arabia did.
There is little choice left for the people of Pakistan.
Either remain silent while their chosen leader is imprisoned. Whilst his family is detained, his party is suppressed and justice is denied - or come out peacefully and exercise their fundamental right to protest.
You can arrest families and threaten people with violence. But you cannot imprison 250 million Pakistanis or crush the will of a generation.
No regime is more powerful than its people. The world must watch as the people of Pakistan come together to demonstrate their plea for justice, even in the face of threats of violence.
Inshallah, Pakistan’s future will be decided by its people, not by criminals who rule through fear.
The question is why does the British government not take action? It is forever handing money over to Pakistan. Britain could withhold the money it gives Pakistan. The UK has a lot of influence it could wield. But it is not doing anything. And there are plenty of Briish Pakistani MPs who are doing nothing too. They could raise this in the UK Parliament.
I have never heard of a government prepping like this for a “mass casualty incident” against its own citizens. No doubt it has happened before, but this is incredible.
Pakistan has told Islamabad hospitals to cancel elective surgeries and prepare bed space because a non-violent march is planned for 9/27.
⚡️🇵🇰 NEW from @DropSiteNews: Pakistan Tells Hospitals To Clear Bed Space For "Mass Casualty Incident" Ahead of Major Protest
Imran Khan’s sisters, family members, and party leaders were dragged from their homes before a planned September 27 march.

Disgusting.
A peaceful protest is set to take place on the 27th. Yet the military plan to use it to make an example of anyone questioning their rule. They are planning a bloodbath.
I commend the brave souls who stand up for their country against this tyrannical regime.
Inshallah the rest of the world will speak up soon. I just pray it doesn’t take an atrocity to make them see how bad things are.
A very scary time to be a Pakistani.
