So lucky to be part of a weekly online anime club for 6 years! Thanks to @FifoIronton for putting together this montage of all our posters over the years as a special intro this week. Long live anime!
The main challenge in this project was programmatically modifying the art so that it generated a uniquely solvable puzzle while maintaining the correct look.
Secondary challenges included laying everything out in LaTex and pre-processing everything so that it fit into my system
My most recent project: turning pixel art from artists on Itch into picross puzzles

My goal was to make small puzzles with good art, as I don't really like solving big puzzles with pen and paper.
@Lucas_Mancini I am a little rusty writing blog posts, but I did enjoy playing around with it! The Blogger interface did start slowing down a lot with all the embedded videos, so there are a couple typos / videos in the wrong spot, but overall I think it worked out.
@Oshimos It looks like there is a way to get a hacked save that takes away the waiting, but I am not super well versed in 3DS hacking https://t.co/qw07C2Fstc
@ConnorWhalen95 I hadn't seen a single episode until 2019, and I am always surprised how entertaining it is.
I think the first episode I saw was a holodeck episode, which did not match my expectations at all haha
The most frustrating part of the first game was when your Yellow Pikmin accidentally dropped bombs and blew up your whole team.
They got rid of this in Pikmin 2, and made it so bombs just fall from the sky on your Pikmin
I got all of the treasures in Pikmin 2. I can't tell if it was better than Pikmin 1... but it was definitely a bigger game.
Pikmin 1 was 10 hours of solving puzzles, while Pikmin 2 was 30 hours of dungeon crawling and trying to keep your Pikmin alive despite their best efforts.
