Didn’t miss #bclions home game for 20 yrs. in another life but haven’t been back since 1040 became a literal laughingstock and punted us into retirement. Until today. Anxious to see signs of regrowth of the wonderful three-down game locally, powered by the new owner and QB.

Recall writing about his first preseason game and how important it was for him to excel in order to win a roster spot. Years later he thanked me, when no thanks was needed. That’s Reilly. So glad to have been around for much of his ride.

The day Bob Ackles passed away was one never forgotten by those who spent time around the #BCLions. Today feels the same with word of David Braley’s passing. Our thoughts are with his family and those who care about the #CFL in Vancouver. A torch has now been passed.

Congrats to Tony Gallagher as this year's winner of the Elmer Ferguson Memorial Award for hockey print journalism excellence as voted upon by the Professional Hockey Writers Association. So well deserved.

Commissioner @RandyAmbrosie will be in Vancouver Friday to meet a number of groups interested in purchasing @BCLions. He will present his vision for @cfl including 2.0. From there they will look for formal offers with hopes of completing a sale by end of 2019 @TSN1040 @CFLonTSN
