@superswingfire @EliModnar @Affronter84@BBCPM So you refuse to believe the swathe of independent journalists who verified the story, thinking them part of some vast conspiracy to hide the truth, but do believe a random account on twitter?
If you reply to this I may take a while to respond as I'll be laughing for days.
The most vocal critics of allowing people to decide what to do with their own body when suffering terminal illness are all motivated by religious belief.
The same as abortion.

New Labour MPs scrabbling around totally unable to make up their own minds on an issue as important as assisted dying goes to show how far the Labour bar has been lowered.

@JustinBaileyart I don't live near one, or any proposals.
As for the other things, if it's disrupting the lives or views of the people who already live there some compensation is fine.
Anyway, Twitter has broken your brain, try engaging with less hostility in future.

If you live near an airport you're paid a sum each year to compensate for the noise and disruption.
I don't think it's unreasonable to introduce something similar for those near wind or solar farms.
#politicslive
I've got very little time for MPs who plan on voting against assisted dying due to safeguarding who don't say what safeguards they would accept. #politicslive
@JustinBaileyart Don't be disingenuous, for people who already live in these places it's not unreasonable, and as those people move on the cost will reduce to zero.

Good thing we spent the first ten minutes of #bbcaq veering between complete appeasement of Putin and full blown nuclear war.
Really added to the discussion and made it worth missing out on more nuanced voices.
@Elaineewald3 It's going up by another ยฃ240, it's already gone up 10x. Something Labour promised wouldn't happen.
I don't think I can explain in more clearly so I'll leave it there, have a great Friday.
When Labour brought in Uni fees they promised they'd stay low and just be a contribution from students towards their education.
Now, after the Conservatives made them 10X higher Labour are raising them again.

@Elaineewald3 I understood what you were saying, mine was the Labours promise on keeping tuition fees were meaningless, which is nothing to do with the Tories.
Keep it in mind if they try to introduce some form of NHS privatisation they promise will be limited.
