We can’t hear u when u scream.
U say u want consensus; u demand complete concession.
U say u want tolerance; u settle for nothing less than celebration.
U say u want equality; u expect overwhelming control.
We’re on to u now.
It’s not a negotiation. It’s a culture war.
Pro-choice people be acting like the customers who complain about not getting a refund for a bad movie after they watched the entire thing, only this is worse because they're upset they can't kill babies.
If you use contraceptives thinking it's your best shot at not getting pregnant, you're lying to yourself. Sure, you're reducing that chance pretty significantly, but it's not 100% effective.
Always funny to me when pro-choice peeps complain about Mississippi having only one abortion clinic. As if Mississippi, of all states, has a huge liberal demographic begging for more abortion clinics.
@KristatheYoung1 Also, I would argue that legislation is less designed to reduce or deter abortions and more so to recognize unborn babies as persons worthy of legal protection. I think the culture is more where we fight to reduce abortions because it's obviously more personal.
@KristatheYoung1 I don't necessarily disagree but this is why CPCs are so important. There are more pregnancy resource centers in the country than planned parenthoods. If we as a society direct women faced with crisis pregnancies toward these centers we've a much better shot at reducing abortion.
*If Planned Parenthood were an actual parent*
*bursts into room*
Hey kids! Wanna tall about SEX?!
"Mom pls no"
*throws contraceptives at child*
Abortion is only 3% of what I do!
"Mom stop"
97% of our services are MAMMOGRAMS
"I'm going to Dad's house, you're insane."
"But if a poor person gets pregnant, they can't afford a baby!"
They probably can't afford the abortion either, how about you help them find a better job or some form of financial aid that will help them long-term.
