These days I'm politically and religiously homeless, and honestly it's starting to feel way more like freedom than anything else. No team to root for, no cozy stories to hide behind, no waiting around for some savior or cosmic justice to show up. I'm just out here in the open, taking the weather as it comes, done with the comforting little lies.
They want us angry, sick, broken, dead, I see it plain as day. But I'm letting go of the rage over stuff I can't fix. That release alone has been massive.
I exist because I'm here. Tomorrow's not guaranteed. Can't stop the big ugly machine grinding away, globalism, division, kids losing real childhoods, neighborhoods fading, health getting wrecked. So I'm choosing to eat, drink, and be merry as much as I can, on purpose. More little rituals, deep breaths, time with people who matter, feet on the actual earth.
A truly intelligent species would not contaminate its own drinking water, erode topsoil, collapse wildlife populations, and create chronic disease through its own food system.
Life was better when there was a ‘computer room.’ Where you had to physically enter the room to get on the internet and then log off and leave that room and the internet stayed behind. The minute we were able to take it with us in our pockets that’s when society collapsed fully
@elonmusk Farms, fresh water, toiling and laboring in the dirt, making delicious food, sitting around the fire with friends, raising children unhampered by governments and ARTIFICIAL things
Not to sound geriatric but...you know what i miss?
Turning something on and it just works.
No account setup. No app download. No QR code. No "sign in to continue".
Just plug it in and it does the thing its supposed to do.
@topicswithatee@edgaralandough Don't do it! Especially if she already has kids too. She will steal any extra time you have and direct all your efforts to her and to her kids.
You will be distracted by the want if sex and not focused on your kids
One of the biggest mistakes humans make is thinking we are separate from nature instead of part of it. People destroy ecosystems, disrespect animals, pollute oceans and forests, then speak about rising diseases, extreme weather, food problems, and instability as if these things appeared randomly. Nature does not negotiate, feel sympathy, or care about excuses. Every action has a response. The problem is that by the time humans finally notice it, the damage is already much harder to reverse.
Did anyone bother to read the entire 940 page OBBB?
It’s like reading a dystopian horror novel written by useless dregs, signed into LAW by Trump
If you read it like I did, you stumbled upon electricity demand, tax treatment, and energy sourcing, aka “Data Centers” worded deceptively as
“AI infrastructure”
I recommend reading or rereading Section 45Y) and investment (Section 48E)
We have been betrayed—AGAIN
@marriedmn Too much emphasis is put on sex. 10 min of time yet so many men & women base their whole well being off it. It's kind of insane actually
@GenFlynn@DataRepublican@elonmusk We need to do much more than reading right now. Who will lead us to revolution and reclamation of our republic? Will you? Lead the way...we will follow.
