after almost 4 years working on Libya, it has come the time to embark on a new professional journey.
As the passionate and unapologetic MENA person I am, I will continue my path in @eu_eeas working on the Gulf, a region near and dear to me.

Yesterday in Berlin, at the meeting of the International Follow-up Committee on #Libya hosted by @UNSMILibya and Germany, the #EU joined international partners in expressing strong support for @HannaTettehโs efforts to revive a Libyan-led, Libyan-owned inclusive political process.
We welcome the success of the meeting and stand ready to contribute actively to help fulfil the Libyan peopleโs aspirations for unity, peace, and shared prosperity.
delighted to join colleagues for an Iftar hosted by the @MissionLibya. A great moment of conviviality and exchange. Heartfelt thanks to Ambassador @jalal_alashi for the kind invitation.
Great to welcome young #Libya-n diplomats visiting the #EU institutions in Brussels, including the European Parliament and Commission.
Today they had an interesting exchange with the EUโs diplomatic service, the External Action Service, on EU-Libya relations and to learn more about #EUdiplomacy.
Thank you Prime Minister @Dabaibahamid for a good meeting.
The EU is committed to a peaceful, secure & prosperous Libya.
We discussed the current political situation, our bilateral relations, and how to manage migration in full respect of international law & human rights.
I am honoured and have greatly enjoyed delving into the pivotal role of the EU on the global stage!
Presenting the impactful work of @eu_eeas and engaging in enlightening conversations with citizens visiting the @EU_Commission was truly rewarding.

I met w/ @Bathily_UNSMIL to reaffirm EU support for UNSMIL and its facilitation initiative for Libya. A sustainable political solution requires inclusive national dialogue. Libyans deserve a better future. We'll keep supporting them, in Derna and elsewhere https://t.co/IBjIaqSWvy
Saddened by images of devastation in #Libya, ravaged by extreme weather conditions causing the tragic loss of many lives.
EU is following the situation closely and stands ready to provide support.
Libya: ๐ช๐บ follows with concern the latest violent events.
While clashes in Tripoli appear to have subsided, EU urges all parties to continue to refrain from armed hostilities,to engage in dialogue in order to de-escalate the situation & restore calm https://t.co/xoUMsMJBml
Post-Cotonou Agreement adopted.
This is a landmark in EU relations with the Organisation of African, Caribbean and Pacific States.
It will promote sustainable development and prosperity.
Congratulations to @eu2023es for making it happen.
