If a show is expensive to make, gets middling reviews and fails to find a substantial audience then it's going to get cancelled. Bottom line #KAOS was cancelled because it wasn't good enough to justify the production costs.

Kaos has an A list star, was advertised everywhere and had years of development behind it. It was also massively pushed on the homescreen in the weeks following its launch.
