#SpiderManBrandNewDay is good... just not great.

The emotional journey of Peter Parker is the film's biggest strength, and Tom Holland shines throughout. But the middle act drags, the action blocks are limited and not all of the supporting characters add much to the narrative.

Having said that, it's still an enjoyable watch with plenty of heart and a compelling character driven story.

A solid Spider Man film, but one that falls short of the enormous pre-release hype.
